Studio Smokescreen’s Animated Shorts for CalHOPE Schools Offer Free Mental Health Resource for Youth and Families
Geared towards middle school and high school aged kids and their families, this series of 2D animated shorts produced by Studio Smokescreen for CalHOPE Schools, promote mental health and wellness, tackling subjects including managing stress, anxiety and normalizing the importance of asking for help and support. Designed to speak to all young people, especially those most in need from marginalized backgrounds and communities, the project reflects the intersection between the young audience they are intended to reach and Studio Smokescreen’s core mission of authentic storytelling told by diverse and underrepresented voices. The shorts are available in English and Spanish.
